- Twenty-nine percent of Indiana's major roads are in poor or mediocre condition. Twenty-three percent of Indiana's bridges are structurally deficient or functionally obsolete.
- In order to meet the state's needs, Indiana governments would need to invest between $620 and $695 million annually over 20 years to adequately improve water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Seventy-seven percent of the $291.5 billion worth of commodities delivered annually from sites in Indiana is transported by trucks on the state's highways. Two percent is delivered by a combination of trucks and rail.
